Secret Lighting SL-1000 LED Grow Light

The Secret Lighting SL-1000 is a true 1000W, high-output LED grow light built for demanding indoor growing environments. Its large 8-bar design produces 2,900 µmol/s PPF at 2.9 µmol/J, combining serious intensity with broad, uniform light distribution.

Designed for open rooms, benches, racks and grow tents, the SL-1000 pairs a bright full spectrum with dedicated 660nm deep-red diodes, onboard dimming, passive cooling and optional external control.

True 1000W Output

The SL-1000 draws a true 1000W ±5% from the wall and produces 2,900 µmol/s PPF, making it the highest-output fixture in Secret Lighting’s standard full-spectrum lineup.

8-Bar Design

Its 43.31” × 43.31” frame uses eight LED bars to distribute that output across a wide growing area.

2.9 µmol/J Efficiency

With an efficacy of 2.9 µmol/J, the SL-1000 converts its substantial 1000W input into 2,900 µmol/s of photosynthetic photon output — well suited to installations where high light intensity and broad coverage are priorities.

Full Spectrum + 660nm Deep Red

The SL-1000 delivers a bright white full spectrum enriched with dedicated 660nm red diodes. Secret Lighting’s spectrum chart shows strong blue output, broad coverage throughout the visible spectrum and a pronounced deep-red peak.

4’ × 4’ Flower / 5’ × 5’ Veg Coverage

The SL-1000 is rated for a 4’ × 4’ flowering footprint and a 5’ × 5’ vegetative footprint.

Secret Lighting’s PAR maps show center readings of approximately 1,595 µmol/m²/s at 18 inches. Raising the fixture to 24 inches broadens distribution while still producing center readings of approximately 1,273 µmol/m²/s.

Four-Level Onboard Dimming

The SL-1000 doesn’t need to run at maximum output at all times. Its onboard dimming button provides four output levels — 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% — making it easy to adjust intensity as plant requirements, mounting height or environmental conditions change.

Optional External Control

The Secret Lighting Control, sold separately, adds precise centralized lighting management, including 0–100% external dimming, scheduling and sunrise/sunset programming, for up to 250 fixtures per controller.

IP65 Wet Rated

The SL-1000 carries an IP65 wet rating for added protection in moisture-prone indoor growing environments.

Passive Cooling

Fanless passive cooling eliminates onboard cooling fans for quiet operation with no active cooling components.

Commercial-Ready Design

The SL-1000 is ETL, CE and DLC Hort certified, making it suitable for professional installations and applicable commercial energy rebate programs. It is also rated Q90 for more than 50,000 hours.

Choosing a Voltage Configuration

120V — for standard installations running on conventional 120V circuits (8.33A).

240V — for higher-voltage residential or commercial circuits, drawing lower current per fixture (4.17A).

277V — for commercial facilities with 277V electrical infrastructure (3.61A).
