The PhotonTek XT 1000W CO2 Pro LED Grow Light is an ultra-high-intensity, full-spectrum horticultural fixture engineered for commercial rooms, large grow tents, multi-layer systems, and controlled environments using supplemental CO2. Producing 2,925 µmol/s of PPF at an efficacy of 2.9 µmol/J, it delivers the concentrated photon output required for demanding production applications.
Designed around a ten-bar linear array, the XT 1000W distributes light evenly across a 5' × 5' canopy when used in CO2-enriched environments. The wide multi-bar layout reduces central hot spots and creates more uniform PPFD across the growing area than conventional single-source fixtures.
The fixture can also be operated without supplemental CO2. In that configuration, PhotonTek recommends increasing the hanging height to reduce canopy intensity and expand the usable footprint to approximately 6' × 6'. This allows operators to adapt the fixture to different environmental strategies without changing lighting systems.
Higher-spec LUMILEDS white diodes and Osram 660 nm red diodes generate a balanced full-spectrum output suitable for propagation, vegetative development, and flowering. The fixture can remain in service throughout the complete production cycle while intensity is adjusted to match each stage.
PhotonTek's modular Activ-Adapt magnetic light bar system allows individual bars to be removed, replaced, or serviced without replacing the entire fixture. Ten 100W bars spread electrical load and heat across a broad surface area, supporting stable performance and passive thermal management.
The intelligent 1000W driver automatically adjusts power consumption according to the number of installed bars. Operators can run fewer than ten bars when full output is unnecessary, while the driver scales its draw to the connected configuration.
An included 0–10V dimmer provides OFF, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% output settings. This allows light intensity to be reduced during early plant development and increased as canopy demand rises without altering the relative spectral distribution.
The fixture can also be connected to the PhotonTek Digital Lighting Controller or another compatible 0–10V system. External control supports automated scheduling, dimming, temperature protection, sunrise and sunset simulation, and coordinated operation of up to 100 fixtures.
The detachable driver can remain mounted to the fixture or be positioned remotely using separately available extension cables. Remote placement lowers the heat load directly above the canopy and provides greater flexibility in compact rooms and stacked installations.
The XT 1000W CO2 Pro carries an IP65 rating, uses passive cooling, and is rated for approximately 60,000 operating hours. It is protected by a 5-Year Manufacturer Warranty covering qualifying defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.
