The Mars Hydro iTime is a dual outlet smart timer designed to automate grow lights, fans, heat mats, pumps, routers, lamps, and other compatible 125V equipment from a single plug in controller. Each outlet can be controlled independently, or both can be managed together using the ALL setting, giving growers a simple way to automate two devices without using separate timers.

The iTime supports both Multi Mode and Recycle Mode, allowing it to handle traditional scheduled ON and OFF periods as well as repeated cycling applications. It can also connect through WiFi and Bluetooth to the MarsPro App for remote control and scheduling.

For U.S. installations, the iTime is rated for 125V AC, 13A maximum current, and 1,625W maximum combined load across both outlets.

Dual Outlet Control

The iTime includes two AC outlets within a single timer. Each outlet can be controlled separately, allowing two different devices to run on independent schedules.

The controller also includes an ALL mode that applies the same command to both outlets simultaneously — Socket 1 and Socket 2 are controlled separately while ALL controls both together.

Independent or Synchronized Scheduling

The two outlet design gives growers flexibility in how equipment is automated. For example, one outlet can control a grow light while the second operates a fan or other device on a different schedule.

If both connected devices should operate together, the ALL setting allows the same timing configuration to be applied to both outlets, reducing the need for multiple standalone timers while keeping each load independently manageable when required.

Multi Mode Scheduling

Multi Mode is designed for applications that require several scheduled ON and OFF periods during the week. Mars Hydro allows up to 12 groups of ON and OFF times to be programmed.

Each programmed group can include week selection, ON time, OFF time, hour setting, and minute setting — making Multi Mode useful for equipment that needs to operate at several specific times rather than following one simple daily schedule.

Recycle Mode

Recycle Mode repeatedly switches an outlet on and off according to a programmed cycle. Users can define week, start time, ON duration, OFF duration, and number of repetitions.

The controller supports hours, minutes, and seconds within the recycle timing setup, giving it more flexibility than a conventional daily outlet timer. START, ON, OFF, and TIMES settings are all identified within Recycle Mode.

Manual ON and OFF Control

The iTime can also be used without an active automated schedule. Each socket can be manually switched into ON or OFF mode through the physical controls on the timer.

This is useful when testing equipment, performing maintenance, or temporarily overriding a schedule without unplugging the connected device.

MarsPro App Control

The iTime supports both Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity for use with the MarsPro App. Once connected, users can manage compatible timer functions from a smartphone rather than standing directly at the outlet.

Built In Local Controls

The timer can also be completely operated from its physical interface, with buttons for Up, Down, OK, Back, Toggle (switching between Outlet 1, Outlet 2, and ALL), Clock, and Clear.

This provides full basic control even when a phone is not available.

Local Clock Programming

The iTime includes an internal clock for schedule based operation. Users can set the day of the week, hour, and minute.

Once the correct local time is entered, Multi Mode and other scheduled functions can execute automatically according to the programmed times.

13A Maximum Current

The U.S. iTime is rated for a maximum current of 13 amps. This rating applies to the combined load connected through both outlets rather than 13 amps per outlet.

Before connecting equipment, the total current draw of both devices should remain within the timer's rated capacity.

1,625W Combined Load Capacity

At 125V, the iTime supports a maximum combined load of 1,625 watts across its two outlets. This allows it to manage many common horticultural devices including LED grow lights, inline fans, circulation fans, heat mats, small pumps, routers, lamps, and other compatible 125V appliances.

The combined wattage of both connected devices must remain below the total rating.

Indoor Use

The iTime is designed for indoor use only. Mars Hydro lists an operating temperature range of approximately 20°C below zero to 40°C.

It should be positioned in a dry indoor location and kept away from conditions that exceed its operating range.

Rechargeable Internal Battery

The timer contains an internal battery designed to support its internal settings. The battery is factory installed and should not be replaced by the user.

When the timer is plugged in, the battery charges automatically and stops charging when full.

Factory Reset

The iTime can be returned to factory settings using the physical controls. Users should press and hold the Toggle and Clear buttons for three seconds to restore the timer to factory settings.

Compact Plug In Design

The iTime measures approximately 4.47" x 3.21" x 3.46" and weighs approximately 0.57 lb. Its compact plug in format combines the timer, two outlets, local display, buttons, WiFi, and Bluetooth hardware in one housing.

No separate controller box is required.
