Mars Hydro FC1500 150W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light

The Mars Hydro FC1500 150W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light is a compact bar style fixture designed for indoor gardeners who need efficient, uniform lighting across a 2 x 2 to 2.5 x 2.5 foot growing area. Powered by Bridgelux 3030 white LEDs and upgraded OSRAM 660nm deep red LEDs, the FC1500 delivers a balanced spectrum for seedlings, vegetative growth, flowering, and fruiting while maintaining low power consumption.

Drawing 150 watts, the fixture produces up to 427.5 µmol/s PPF with a rated photosynthetic photon efficacy of 2.85 µmol/J. Its multi bar layout distributes diodes across the fixture rather than concentrating them in a single board, helping reduce central hotspots and create more consistent PPFD across the canopy.

The spectrum combines warm white, cool white, and deep red output to support plants throughout their complete growth cycle. Bridgelux 3030 white diodes provide broad spectrum light for healthy plant structure and photosynthesis, while OSRAM 660nm deep red LEDs strengthen the red portion of the spectrum used heavily during flowering and fruit development.

An integrated dimmer allows output to be adjusted as plants mature. The FC1500 also supports daisy chain control, making it easier to manage multiple fixtures together in larger growing areas. Optional Mars Hydro smart controllers can add app based dimming, automated schedules, and sunrise and sunset programming.

The fixture uses passive aluminum cooling with open space between the light bars to release heat efficiently. With no cooling fan, it operates silently and avoids moving components that may require maintenance. Its compact dimensions make it well suited for grow tents, cabinets, plant shelves, propagation areas, and small hydroponic systems.

Bridgelux and OSRAM LED Technology

The FC1500 combines Bridgelux 3030 white LEDs with OSRAM 660nm deep red diodes to deliver efficient broad spectrum plant lighting.

The white LEDs provide balanced output across the visible spectrum, while the dedicated OSRAM deep red diodes strengthen flowering and fruiting support without requiring a separate supplemental fixture.

Uniform Bar Style Coverage

The multi bar design spreads LEDs across a wider surface area to create more consistent light intensity from the centre of the canopy to the edges.

This layout helps reduce hotspots, improves coverage across the growing area, and leaves open space between the bars for faster heat dissipation.

Full Spectrum Plant Lighting

The FC1500 produces a balanced spectrum using approximately 2800K to 3000K warm white, 4800K to 5000K cool white, and 660nm to 665nm deep red wavelengths.

This spectrum supports seedlings, vegetative development, flowering plants, herbs, leafy greens, and fruiting crops under a single fixture.

Efficient 150W Performance

With a 150 watt power draw, the FC1500 produces up to 427.5 µmol/s PPF and reaches a rated fixture efficacy of 2.85 µmol/J.

It is designed for core 2 x 2 foot coverage and can support areas up to approximately 2.5 x 2.5 feet depending on plant stage, mounting height, and required light intensity.

Dimming and Daisy Chain Control

The built in dimmer lets growers reduce output for seedlings and young plants, then increase intensity as the canopy develops.

Daisy chain capability allows multiple compatible lights to be adjusted together, which is useful for expanded tent layouts, shelving systems, and multi fixture growing areas.

Optional Smart App Control

The FC1500 can be paired with compatible Mars Hydro smart controllers for remote lighting management.

Depending on the controller selected, growers can access app based dimming, automated daily schedules, lighting groups, and sunrise and sunset simulation. Smart controllers are optional and sold separately.

Quiet Passive Cooling

The aluminum heat sink and open bar configuration disperse heat without using a fan.

This completely silent cooling system helps maintain reliable operation while eliminating moving components that can wear out or collect dust over time.
