Mars Hydro 5L Ultrasonic Cool Mist Plant Humidifier

The Mars Hydro 5L Ultrasonic Cool Mist Plant Humidifier is a compact climate control solution designed for grow tents, indoor gardens, plant rooms, and greenhouses where maintaining consistent humidity is essential.

With a 5L water tank, four adjustable mist levels, automatic humidity control, and coverage up to 269 ft², it is particularly well suited to grow tents up to approximately 5' x 5'. The included wired temperature and humidity sensor measures conditions within the growing area so the humidifier can automatically regulate output around your selected humidity target.

The system also includes remote control, a 1 to 12 hour timer, sleep mode, low water protection, and a flexible telescopic hose that allows mist to be delivered directly into a grow tent while the humidifier remains outside.

Automatic Humidity Control

Set the desired relative humidity and allow the humidifier to regulate operation automatically. The built in humidity control offers a range from 35% to 95% RH in 5% increments.

Once the measured humidity reaches your selected target, mist production automatically pauses, helping maintain a more consistent environment without requiring the humidifier to run continuously.

Four Adjustable Mist Levels

Choose from four mist output levels depending on the size of the growing area and current environmental demand:

• Level 1: 0.15L/hr
• Level 2: 0.34L/hr
• Level 3: 0.47L/hr
• Level 4: 0.58L/hr

Maximum humidification output is 0.58L per hour, giving growers considerably more control than a basic single speed humidifier.

Up to 269 ft² Coverage

Mars Hydro rates the humidifier for spaces up to approximately 269 square feet. Its compact output makes it particularly useful for individual grow tents and smaller indoor growing environments where a larger commercial humidifier would be unnecessary.

Actual performance will vary depending on ventilation, temperature, ambient humidity, room volume, and air exchange.

Wired Temperature & Humidity Sensor

An external wired sensor probe is included to measure conditions closer to the plants rather than directly beside the humidifier. The sensor provides real time temperature and relative humidity readings, allowing the automatic humidity system to respond to conditions within the growing environment.

Temperature and humidity readings can also be calibrated when compared against a trusted reference instrument.

Flexible Mist Distribution

The included telescopic hose lets you position the humidifier outside a grow tent while directing cool mist into the growing area. Mars Hydro specifically recommends outside tent configurations for higher level humidification and illustrates several possible installation arrangements in the supplied manual.

The hose should remain horizontal or slope slightly upward. Sharp U or O shaped bends should be avoided because they can allow condensed water to accumulate and potentially leak.

1 to 12 Hour Timer

Program the humidifier to operate for a specific period using the integrated timer. The timer offers 12 selectable settings from 1 to 12 hours in one hour increments.

Once the selected duration expires, the humidifier automatically shuts down.

Remote Control

The included remote provides convenient access to the humidifier's major settings without requiring direct access to the control panel. This is especially useful when the unit is positioned beside or behind a grow tent.

Mars Hydro supports both touch panel and remote operation for the primary humidifier functions.

Quiet Ultrasonic Operation

The ultrasonic vaporizer produces cool mist while operating at less than 35 dB(A) according to Mars Hydro. This makes the humidifier suitable for grow tents and indoor gardens where continuous equipment noise needs to remain minimal.

Sleep Mode

The display automatically dims after approximately 30 seconds of inactivity while the humidifier continues operating. A dedicated one key screen off function can also immediately darken the display, helping prevent unnecessary light inside the growing environment during dark periods.

Memory Function

The humidifier remembers the previously selected mist level, timer, and humidity settings when restarted. This reduces repetitive setup and allows the unit to return quickly to the grower's preferred environmental settings.

Low Water Protection

Built in water level protection helps prevent the humidifier from operating dry. If the water level remains below minimum for approximately 30 seconds, the warning indicator flashes and an audible alarm sounds before the unit automatically shuts down.

Easy Cleaning & Maintenance

Mars Hydro recommends using distilled water to minimize mineral buildup and cleaning the humidifier at least once per week. For cleaning, the manufacturer recommends a 1:1 mixture of water and white vinegar or citric acid, soaked for at least 10 minutes before cleaning the tank, sink, base, atomizer, and air inlet screen.
