Twister BatchOne Dry Trimming Machine

The Twister BatchOne is a commercial batch style dry trimming machine built for facilities that need substantially higher throughput without giving up control over trim quality. Designed specifically around dry processing, the BatchOne can process up to 88 lb/hr using a 19.5” tumbler, a 1/4 HP motor, ultrafine saddle adjustments, and a pivoting frame that makes loading and unloading easier.

Its layout is built around real production environments. The machine rides on 360° rotating locking casters, the control box can be removed to reduce the machine’s width for moving through standard doors, and the electronics can be separated from the frame for safer washdown and cleaning.

The BatchOne also eliminates the need for a separate vacuum or trim saver for material collection. Trim falls directly into clear food grade collection bins positioned beneath the tumbler, keeping the workflow contained and making collection and storage easier.

Built for Batch Style Dry Trimming

The BatchOne is designed specifically for operators who prefer a dry trimming workflow. Rather than feeding product continuously through multiple machines, material is loaded into the tumbler as a batch, which then rotates against the cutting surface while adjustable saddle tension allows the operator to fine tune trim aggressiveness.

This batch style approach gives operators more control over processing time and finished appearance while still supporting commercial scale throughput.

Up to 88 lb/hr Throughput

The BatchOne is rated for processing up to 88 lb of dry material per hour, or approximately 40 kg/hr, making it suitable for facilities where hand trimming or smaller dry trimmers have become a production bottleneck.

Twister pairs that capacity with a 1/4 HP motor designed to maintain tumbler movement under load without frequent stalling.

Ultrafine Saddle Adjustment

One of the BatchOne’s most important controls is its adjustable saddle tension. Fine saddle adjustments let the cutting relationship between the tumbler and blade system be tuned for tighter or gentler trimming depending on the condition and density of the material being processed.

This gives operators more control than a fixed cutting configuration and helps make the machine adaptable to different batches.

19.5” Electropolished Stainless Steel Tumbler

The BatchOne uses a 19.5” diameter tumbler constructed from electropolished 304 stainless steel with anodized aluminum end caps. Electropolishing creates a smoother stainless surface that is easier to clean and better suited to repeated processing applications.

The tumbler is also designed for quick removal, reducing the amount of hardware that has to be handled during cleaning and routine maintenance.

Pivoting Loading and Unloading

The machine uses a multi position pivoting frame that allows the tumbler to be repositioned for easier loading and unloading. A five position pivoting system helps operators adjust the machine angle around their workflow rather than working around a fixed drum position.

This can be particularly useful in production rooms where loading, trimming, collection, and cleaning all happen in the same work area.

Mobile Facility Design

The BatchOne is mounted on 360° rotating locking casters, allowing the machine to be moved between processing areas and then secured in place during operation.

With the control box installed, the machine is approximately 34” wide. Removing the control box reduces overall width to approximately 31”, allowing the machine to pass through standard doorways around 32” wide — a significant benefit for facilities that process in one room and clean in another.

Removable Control Box

The electrical control box can be removed from the machine before cleaning, allowing the primary frame and processing area to be washed down without exposing sensitive electronics to unnecessary moisture.

The removable control box is also what allows the machine to narrow from 34” to approximately 31” for transportation through standard doors.

Toolless Maintenance

The BatchOne is designed to reduce the number of tools required for routine cleaning and servicing. The quick removal tumbler design allows major processing components to be accessed without dealing with numerous bolts or loose fasteners, and the motor can also be removed for cleaning to help operators access areas that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

Lubrication Free Operation

The BatchOne is designed for lubrication free operation. Eliminating routine lubrication around the processing path reduces maintenance requirements and avoids introducing grease or oil into areas where trimmed material is being handled.

Integrated Trim Collection

The BatchOne captures trimmed material directly beneath the processing area without requiring a separate vacuum or trim saver. Clear polycarbonate collection bins make it easy to monitor accumulation during processing, and the bins are designed to be food grade, stackable, and nestable for efficient storage when not in use.

Food Contact Materials

The product path uses materials selected for repeated processing and cleaning, including:

Cleaning and Washdown

Cleaning is a major part of the BatchOne’s design. The tumbler can be removed quickly, the motor is removable, the control box can be detached, and the internal processing area is accessible for washdown — removing the control box allows full washdown without risking damage to the electronics.
