Secret Lighting SL-680 MEGA LED Grow Light

The Secret Lighting SL-680 MEGA is a high-output, full-spectrum LED grow light built for open rooms, benches and grow tents. Its broad quantum-board style diode array delivers 2,040 µmol/s PPF from 680W, reaching 3.0 µmol/J efficacy.

• Power: 680W
• Output: 2,040 µmol/s
• Efficacy: 3.0 µmol/J
• Lifetime: Q90 >50,000 Hours

Designed to perform as a standalone fixture or as part of a shared lighting layout, the SL-680 MEGA combines powerful output with a slim, passively cooled design and flexible onboard or external dimming.

2,040 µmol/s PPF Output

With 680W of power and 2,040 µmol/s PPF, the SL-680 MEGA provides high-intensity output while maintaining 3.0 µmol/J system efficacy.

Its broad fixture design helps distribute light across the growing area and suits installations over benches, inside grow tents or in open growing rooms.

Full Spectrum + 660nm Red

The SL-680 MEGA produces a bright white full spectrum supplemented with 660nm red diodes, with strong blue output alongside the broad white spectrum and a pronounced deep-red peak for a balanced profile across the primary photosynthetic range.

4’ × 4’ Flower / 5’ × 5’ Veg Coverage

The SL-680 MEGA is rated for a 4’ × 4’ flowering footprint and a 5’ × 5’ vegetative footprint, with a recommended mounting height of 6–36”.

Secret Lighting’s PAR maps show center readings of approximately 1,357 µmol/m²/s at an 18-inch mounting height and approximately 1,021 µmol/m²/s at 24 inches, where the pattern is more widely distributed.

0–100% Onboard Dimming

An integrated dimming dial provides 0–100% output adjustment directly on the fixture, making it easy to tailor intensity without additional equipment.

External Control Compatible

For larger installations, the optional Secret Lighting Control adds external dimming and centralized lighting management. The controller is sold separately.

IP65 Wet Rated

The SL-680 MEGA is IP65 wet rated, providing added protection against moisture in demanding indoor growing environments.

Passive Cooling

The fixture uses a passively cooled design, eliminating onboard cooling fans and their moving parts for quiet operation.

Despite its 680W output, the fixture measures just 1.97 inches thick and weighs 17 lb.

100–277V Operation

A wide 100–277VAC input range supports both residential and commercial installations, with power cord options for 120V, 240V and 277V.

Commercial-Ready Certifications

The SL-680 MEGA is ETL, CE and DLC Hort certified and qualifies for applicable commercial energy rebate programs.

Choosing a Voltage Configuration

120V — for standard installations running on conventional 120V circuits (5.66A).

240V — for higher-voltage residential or commercial circuits, drawing lower current per fixture (2.83A).

277V — for commercial facilities with 277V electrical infrastructure (2.45A).
