Scynce LED Raging Kush II 650W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light

The Scynce LED Raging Kush II 650W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light is a commercial horticultural fixture engineered for growers who need precise spectrum control, strong canopy penetration, and consistent PPFD at close mounting heights. Its compact vertical profile makes it especially well suited for low ceilings, multi-tier growing systems, dense indoor gardens, and cultivation rooms where traditional high-bay fixtures require too much clearance.

Unlike fixed-spectrum grow lights, the Raging Kush II uses four independently controlled lighting channels that allow growers to adjust warm white, cool white, deep red, and far-red output throughout the growing cycle. This level of control makes it possible to tailor light quality for propagation, vegetative development, flowering, and finishing without replacing fixtures or sacrificing total available power.

Scynce LED’s patented secondary optics distribute light across the canopy from multiple angles, helping reduce concentrated hotspots while directing usable photons deeper into plant growth. With the 120° optic configuration, the fixture can operate as close as 6 inches above the canopy, making it an excellent option for vertical racks and rooms with limited overhead space. A 70° optic option is also available for higher mounting positions and more concentrated penetration.

At standard output, the fixture produces up to 1,631 µmol/s PPF with an efficacy of up to 2.51 µmol/J. OVERDRIVE mode can increase total photon output to as much as 2,251 µmol/s when additional intensity is required. Published testing shows an average PPFD of approximately 1,057 µmol/m²/s across a 4 x 4 foot canopy with the 120° optic mounted 6 to 9 inches above the plants.

The Raging Kush II can be managed through compatible wired controls, wireless controls, or the Scynce THEIA platform for spectrum adjustment, dimming, scheduling, and daily light programming. Its dimming range extends from 10% to 100%, with dim-to-off capability for complete lighting automation.

Built for demanding indoor environments, the fixture uses passive thermal management with no cooling fans and carries an IP66 rating for protection against dust and moisture. Universal voltage compatibility supports residential and commercial installations from 120V through 480V, depending on the selected power configuration.

Four Channel Spectrum Control

The fixture includes four independently adjustable channels:

• 2700K Warm White
• 6500K Cool White
• 660nm Deep Red
• 730nm Far Red

Growers can redistribute output between these channels without being limited to a fixed factory spectrum. This allows lighting profiles to be adjusted for different plant varieties, growth stages, canopy responses, and production goals.

Patented Secondary Optics

Scynce LED’s optical system delivers light from multiple angles to improve distribution across the canopy and direct photons deeper into plant growth.

The 120° optic is designed for close mounting heights between approximately 6 and 18 inches. It spreads light across the growing surface while helping reduce hotspots and uneven development.

The optional 70° optic creates a narrower beam for higher mounting positions and applications where increased directional penetration is preferred.

High PPFD at Low Mounting Heights

With the 120° optics installed, the Raging Kush II delivers an average PPFD of approximately 1,057 µmol/m²/s over a 4 x 4 foot canopy when mounted 6 to 9 inches above the plants.

This close-range performance is particularly valuable in vertical farming systems, low-ceiling grow rooms, and multi-tier layouts where every inch of vertical clearance matters.

Standard and OVERDRIVE Output

The fixture produces up to 1,631 µmol/s PPF during standard operation. When additional intensity is required, OVERDRIVE mode can increase total output to as much as 2,251 µmol/s.

This added output gives experienced growers additional headroom without installing another fixture, although intensity should always be adjusted according to plant response, canopy distance, environmental conditions, and supplemental carbon dioxide levels.

Wired and Wireless Lighting Control

Spectrum, intensity, and daily lighting schedules can be managed through compatible Scynce control options, including the THEIA platform and external Scynce controllers.

The fixture supports dimming from 10% to 100% and can dim completely off, allowing precise automation of photoperiods and gradual lighting transitions.

Built for Humid Grow Environments

The entire fixture carries an IP66 rating, providing protection against dust and moisture in demanding horticultural environments.

Its passive cooling design operates without fans, reducing noise and eliminating moving components that require routine maintenance. The sealed construction also makes the fixture easier to clean than open-frame lighting systems.

Universal Voltage Compatibility

The Raging Kush II supports a wide range of electrical installations, including 120V, 240V, 277V, and compatible high-voltage commercial configurations.

Available plug and wiring options include standard North American plugs and commercial wiring configurations, allowing the fixture to be integrated into home grow rooms, vertical farms, greenhouses, and larger horticultural facilities.
