Scynce LED Raging Kale II 250W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light

The Scynce LED Raging Kale II 250W Full Spectrum LED Grow Light is a low-profile horticultural fixture designed for propagation, vegetative growth, vertical racks, shelving systems, greenhouses, and compact indoor gardens. Its slim 1.5 inch profile, close mounting capability, tunable white spectrum, and patented 120 degree optics make it especially useful where vertical clearance is limited.

Unlike fixed white grow lights, the Raging Kale II uses two independently adjustable spectrum channels. Growers can blend 2700K warm white and 6500K cool white output to create lighting profiles suited to different growth stages, plant varieties, and production goals without reducing total available power.

The fixture produces up to 583 µmol/s PPF at an efficacy of 2.33 µmol/J. With the patented 120 degree optics mounted approximately 12 inches above the canopy, it can deliver up to 537 µmol/m²/s average PPFD over a 4 x 3 foot area. Maximum recommended coverage extends to 5 x 4 feet for vegetative growth and propagation, with flowering coverage up to 4 x 2 feet.

Scynce LED’s secondary optics distribute light across the canopy from multiple angles, helping reduce concentrated hotspots while directing usable photons deeper into plant growth. This optical design supports close mounting positions and more consistent development across shelving units, multi-tier racks, tents, and stand-alone growing areas.

Wireless control through the Scynce THEIA platform allows growers to adjust spectrum, intensity, scheduling, sunrise and sunset ramps, and custom lighting recipes from a compatible mobile device. Multiple fixtures can also be grouped through the wireless mesh network for coordinated control across larger growing installations.

The Raging Kale II uses silent passive thermal management with automatic output rollback for added protection. Its fully sealed IP66-rated housing is built for humid horticultural environments, while universal 100V to 277V compatibility supports residential and commercial electrical systems.

Tunable Warm and Cool White Spectrum

The Raging Kale II features two independently controlled white light channels:

• 2700K Warm White
• 6500K Cool White

Growers can shift output between warm and cool white light without sacrificing total fixture power. This allows cooler profiles to be used during propagation and vegetative growth, warmer profiles later in development, or blended full spectrum white light throughout the complete growing cycle.

Patented 120 Degree Optics

Scynce LED’s patented secondary optics distribute light across the canopy from multiple angles instead of concentrating the highest intensity directly beneath the fixture.

This helps reduce hotspots, improve edge coverage, and direct usable light farther into plant growth. The wide optical pattern is especially valuable for low-profile vertical racks and closely spaced shelving systems.

At approximately 12 inches above the canopy, published testing shows an average PPFD of up to 537 µmol/m²/s across a 4 x 3 foot area. Maximum recommended vegetative and propagation coverage reaches approximately 5 x 4 feet at a 15 inch mounting height.
