PhotonTek SQ300W Pro LED Grow Light

The PhotonTek SQ300W Pro LED Grow Light is a compact, full-spectrum horticultural fixture engineered for grow tents, indoor rooms, propagation areas, and controlled growing spaces up to 3.3' × 3.3'. Producing 816 µmol/s of PPF at an efficacy of 2.7 µmol/J, it delivers strong plant-usable light while drawing approximately 310 watts at full output.

Its distinctive square-bar construction distributes light evenly toward the edges and corners of the growing area. This helps reduce the center-heavy intensity and perimeter drop-off commonly associated with compact panel fixtures, creating a more consistent canopy across the complete footprint.

The SQ300W Pro uses higher-spec 4000K white, 660 nm red, and 730 nm far-red diodes to produce a balanced full-spectrum output. This spectrum supports propagation, vegetative development, and flowering, allowing the same fixture to remain in service throughout the complete production cycle.

The fixture’s low-profile design measures only 22.08 inches square and 2.82 inches high, making it particularly useful in small tents, closets, low-ceiling rooms, and multi-layer installations where vertical clearance is limited.

PhotonTek’s Clear Glue protection technology covers the LED bars with a thin protective layer while maintaining high light transmission. This coating improves resistance to corrosion, dust, and moisture while contributing to the fixture’s IP65 water and dust resistance rating.

An advanced aluminum heat sink and open square-bar structure remove heat through passive natural convection. Because the fixture does not require cooling fans, it operates quietly and eliminates moving components that would otherwise require maintenance or replacement.

The included 0–10V dimmer provides OFF, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% output settings. Operators can lower intensity during early development and increase output as canopy requirements change without altering the fixture’s spectrum.

For centralized installations, the SQ300W Pro can be connected to the PhotonTek Digital Lighting Controller or another compatible 0–10V platform. External control supports automated scheduling, dimming, temperature safety functions, sunrise and sunset simulation, and coordinated management of up to 100 fixtures.
