PhotonTek SQ200W Pro LED Grow Light

The PhotonTek SQ200W Pro LED Grow Light is a compact, full-spectrum horticultural fixture designed for grow tents, indoor rooms, propagation areas, and small controlled-environment growing spaces. Producing 508 µmol/s of PPF at an efficacy of 2.5 µmol/J, it delivers efficient plant-usable light across footprints up to 2.6' × 2.6'.

Its square bar configuration is engineered to distribute light evenly across compact growing areas. Unlike concentrated board-style fixtures, the SQ200W Pro spreads output toward the edges and corners of the canopy, helping reduce hot spots while maintaining uniform intensity at relatively short hanging distances.

The fixture uses higher-spec white, deep red, and far-red diodes to produce a balanced full-spectrum output for propagation, vegetative development, and flowering. This complete-cycle spectrum allows operators to use one fixture throughout the entire production process.

PhotonTek’s Clear Glue protection technology covers the LED bars with a thin protective layer that maintains approximately 99% light transmittance. The coating helps protect the diodes from moisture, dust, and corrosion while contributing to the fixture’s IP65 rating.

The SQ200W Pro uses passive thermal management instead of fans. Its aluminum heat sink and open square-bar construction remove heat through natural convection, reducing operating noise and eliminating moving cooling components that require maintenance.

An included 0–10V dimmer provides OFF, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% output settings. Operators can lower intensity during propagation and early growth before increasing output as canopy demand rises.

The fixture can also be connected to the PhotonTek Digital Lighting Controller or another compatible 0–10V control system. External control supports automated scheduling, dimming in 1% increments, temperature safety functions, sunrise and sunset simulation, and centralized management of up to 100 fixtures.

Its compact 20.65-inch square frame and low 8.82-pound weight make the SQ200W Pro easy to install in small tents, compact rooms, vertical spaces, and dedicated propagation areas. The low-profile design also helps preserve usable vertical space in tight environments.
