Capable of processing up to 216 pounds of dry material per hour, the DBT Model 5 effectively doubles the production capacity of the DBT Model 4. Its dual trimming sections and two oversized tumblers allow facilities to move through substantial harvest volumes while reducing dependence on large manual processing crews.
- Dry Processing Capacity: Up to 216 lbs/hr
- Configuration: Dual 66-Inch Trimming Sections
- Automation: Variable Speed + Timer Control
- Warranty: 3-Year Manufacturer Warranty
CenturionPro’s Soft Tumble Technology gently rotates dried material through each electropolished stainless steel tumbler. Rather than relying on aggressive suction or high-impact cutting, the controlled tumbling action encourages unwanted leaf material to pass through the plastic blade sheets while helping preserve the natural structure and appearance of the finished product.
Integrated Variable Speed Control allows operators to adjust tumbler movement according to material size, density, moisture level, and desired finish. Lower speeds provide more delicate handling, while higher speeds increase movement and throughput for larger or denser batches.
The DBT Model 5 also includes timer control, allowing teams to establish repeatable cycle lengths and reduce the risk of over-processing. Once the ideal combination of speed and duration has been identified, operators can reproduce the same settings across future batches for greater consistency between shifts and harvests.
Two 66-inch tumblers provide the substantial processing area required for industrial production. Each tumbler measures approximately 20 inches in diameter and is paired with its own trimming section, plastic blade sheet, and collection trays.
An adjustable industrial stand supports the full dual-section system and includes locking casters for facility mobility. The wheeled design makes it easier to reposition the machine for loading, unloading, cleaning, maintenance, or changes to the processing workflow.
Despite its enormous processing capacity, the DBT Model 5 operates from standard North American 110V power. Its efficient electrical design simplifies installation compared with larger systems that require specialized high-voltage infrastructure.
Four removable trim trays collect separated plant material beneath the two trimming sections. This keeps the workspace organized, simplifies cleanup, and allows recovered material to be managed separately after each batch.
Built from anodized aluminum and electropolished stainless steel, the DBT Model 5 is designed for repeated commercial operation. Its straightforward mechanical layout, replaceable plastic blade sheets, removable tumblers, and accessible collection trays help reduce downtime during cleaning and routine maintenance.
Backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty, the CenturionPro DBT Model 5 is engineered for facilities that need maximum dry-processing capacity, repeatable automated cycles, adjustable control, and consistent results across the largest harvest volumes.
Soft Tumble Technology

- Divide material evenly between both sections.
- Test a smaller sample first.
- Adjust speed and timer settings based on the results.
Consistent preparation improves throughput, finish quality, and repeatability.
Loading Both Tumblers
Material should be distributed evenly between the two trimming sections. Do not completely fill either tumbler. Adequate open space is required for the material to rotate and move across the plastic blade sheets. Overloading may:
- Restrict material movement
- Produce uneven results
- Increase cycle time
- Reduce separation efficiency
- Place unnecessary stress on the motors and drive components
- Make unloading more difficult
Setting the Tumbler Speed
Begin at a lower Variable Speed Control setting. Observe how the material moves within each tumbler and gradually increase speed as required. The correct setting will vary according to:
- Material density
- Flower size
- Moisture content
- Batch weight
- Desired finish
- Timer duration
Setting the Timer
Begin with a short timer cycle during initial testing. Inspect the material at the end of the cycle and add more time only when necessary. Once the ideal cycle has been identified:
- Record the material type
- Record the moisture condition
- Record the batch weight
- Record the speed setting
- Record the timer duration
- Use the documented settings as a starting point for future batches
Adjusting the Stand
Before adjusting the stand:
- Stop both tumblers completely.
- Disconnect electrical power.
- Confirm the machine is stable.
- Adjust the stand to the desired position.
- Secure all adjustment points.
- Lock all casters before restarting.
Never adjust the stand while either tumbler is moving.
Monitoring the Trim
Inspect the material regularly during the first several batches. Different plant varieties, densities, and moisture levels may require different combinations of speed and time. Documenting successful settings helps maintain consistency across future harvests, operators, and production shifts.
