Botanicare Liquid Karma is a versatile plant supplement designed to support nutrient availability, root development, and vigorous plant growth throughout the entire growth cycle.
With a gentle 0.1 0.1 0.5 NPK analysis, Liquid Karma can be used with plant starts, cuttings, seedlings, mother plants, and established plants without adding excessive levels of primary nutrients. When combined with your preferred plant food, it may enhance nutrient availability for plant uptake while supporting vigorous foliage, fruit, and bud site development.
- NPK: Low Strength 0.1 0.1 0.5 Formula
- Growth: Supports Vigorous Plant Development
- Application: Root Drench + Foliar Spray
- Compatibility: Hydroponics, Containers + Soil
Liquid Karma can be used with virtually any nutrient line and alongside other nutrient additives, making it easy to incorporate into an existing feeding program. It is suitable for hydroponic systems, container gardens, and soil applications from the seedling stage through harvest.
Supports Nutrient Availability
When used alongside your preferred plant food, Liquid Karma may enhance the availability of nutrients for plant uptake, helping plants make better use of an existing feeding program.
Root Development & Plant Growth
Liquid Karma may support root development and nutrient uptake, contributing to more vigorous foliage, fruit, and bud site development throughout the plant life cycle.
Ideal for Young Plants
Its low nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium content makes Liquid Karma suitable for sensitive early growth stages, including plant starts, cuttings, seedlings, and mother plants.
Full Growth Cycle Use
Liquid Karma can be incorporated into every watering throughout the complete growth cycle, from clones and seedlings through ripening.
Root & Foliar Application
For root applications, use 5 to 10 ml per gallon of water. Liquid Karma can also be applied as a foliar spray at 15 ml per gallon, providing growers with another method of incorporating it into their plant care program.
Universal Growing Media Compatibility
Suitable for hydroponic systems, container gardens, and traditional soil applications. Liquid Karma can be used with any nutrient line and alongside other nutrient additives.

Application Guidelines
Root Drench
Use 5 to 10 ml per gallon with every watering from clones or seedlings through ripening. Shake well before use, mix thoroughly, and adjust the nutrient solution pH as required.
Foliar Application
Add 15 ml per gallon of water, mix thoroughly, and adjust the solution to a pH of 6.2 to 7.0 before application.
Always follow the current Botanicare product label and feeding recommendations when mixing and applying plant nutrients and supplements.
Ingredients & How Liquid Karma Works
The following ingredient and composition details were not included in the originally supplied product description and were confirmed through Botanicare's own product literature. Liquid Karma is built around seven core ingredient groups, each contributing a different function to plant health and development.
Fermented Compost Solution — A blend of fish meal, composted seabird guano, spirulina, sea kelp, and soybean meal, fermented in stages in the presence of humic acid, citric acid, raw sugar cane, complex carbohydrates, glucose, fructose, and more than 72 trace elements. This fermentation process is intended to maximize biological activity and support vegetative growth, flower development, and flavor.
Amino Acids — A full spectrum of amino acids, including glycine, alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, serine, threonine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, asparagine, glutamine, lysine, arginine, histidine, cysteine, cystine, methionine, proline, phenylalanine, tyrosine, and tryptophan, derived from casein hydrolysate and soybean protein hydrolysate.
Humic Acid — Derived from leonardite, humic acid is included at levels intended to stimulate root, shoot, and flower growth by helping maintain proper osmotic concentration within plant cells.
Seaweed Extract — Sourced from North Atlantic Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum), this extract contains metabolically active carbohydrates, complex carbohydrates, trace minerals such as cobalt, strontium, and iodine, and natural growth substances associated with beneficial plant growth effects.
Carbohydrates — Simple and complex carbohydrates act as direct or indirect precursors to nearly every plant metabolite, providing an added energy source to help the plant assimilate and metabolize the formula’s other components.
Yucca Extract — Included to help improve water penetration in hydrophobic growing substrates, functioning as a natural wetting agent.
Trace Elements — The fermentation process used to produce the compost solution incorporates more than 72 trace elements, supplementing the primary NPK analysis with a broad micronutrient profile.
Naturally Derived Formula
Liquid Karma is manufactured from naturally derived inputs, including fish meal, seabird guano, kelp, humic acid, and amino acids sourced from hydrolyzed proteins, rather than from synthetic mineral salts. Because of this ingredient profile, Liquid Karma is commonly described by the manufacturer and retailers as an organic plant growth enhancer, though growers should confirm current certification status directly with Botanicare if formal organic certification is required for their operation.
Supports Plant Stress Recovery
According to Botanicare's own product information, Liquid Karma may help plants better tolerate common stressors such as heat, transplant shock, drought, and root disturbance by supporting overall plant structure and metabolic function. This can make it a useful supplement during periods of rapid vegetative growth or shortly after transplanting.
Compatible With Aeroponic Systems
In addition to hydroponic, container, and soil applications, Liquid Karma is also compatible with aeroponic growing systems.
Helps Reduce Nutrient Lockout
By supporting nutrient uptake and availability, Liquid Karma may help reduce the risk of nutrient lockout and related deficiencies when used alongside a complete base nutrient program.
Recommended Use Practices
- Shake the container before use.
- Measure accurately using clean equipment.
- Mix thoroughly into your nutrient solution or water source.
- Adjust and confirm pH after fully mixing the solution.
- Apply with every watering for root drench use, or periodically for foliar application.
- Monitor plant response and adjust application rates as needed.
- Store the container tightly closed when not in use.
Storage
Store in the original container in a cool, dry, well ventilated area protected from direct sunlight. Keep the container tightly closed, upright, and properly labeled, and keep away from incompatible materials, food, and drink.
