AC Infinity IONBEAM S16 16" LED Grow Light Bars

The AC Infinity IONBEAM S16 is a four-bar full spectrum LED lighting kit designed for inter-canopy, supplemental, propagation, or small-scale primary lighting. Each 16" light bar uses Samsung LM301H EVO horticultural diodes in a slim aluminum housing that can be positioned around areas where a primary overhead grow light may provide less coverage.

The complete system draws 42W and includes four LED grow light bars, a digital dimming and scheduling controller, steel mounting bars, and mounting screws. Each fixture is also IP65 rated for added resistance to water and dust in humid indoor growing environments.

Four 16" LED Light Bars

The IONBEAM S16 includes four 16" LED grow light bars.

Their slim profile allows them to be positioned around tent walls, along the sides of a canopy, inside propagation setups, or in areas where additional lighting is needed.

Each bar measures approximately 16.02" x 1.08".

Samsung LM301H EVO Diodes

Each light bar uses 18 Samsung LM301H EVO LEDs, providing a total of 72 diodes across the four-bar system.

AC Infinity rates each LM301H EVO diode at 3.14 µmol/J PPE.

The EVO diodes are designed specifically for horticultural lighting and provide the high-efficiency output used throughout the IONBEAM S16 system.

Full Spectrum Output

The IONBEAM S16 uses a full spectrum consisting of 3000K white and 5000K white diodes.

This combination provides broad-spectrum lighting for multiple stages of plant development.

The bars can operate as supplemental lighting alongside a primary fixture or as dedicated lighting for appropriate smaller grow and propagation setups.

Inter-Canopy Lighting

The S16 is specifically designed to help bring additional light into areas that overhead fixtures may not fully reach.

The bars can be positioned along the sides or within the canopy area to provide inter-canopy supplemental lighting and expand overall light coverage.

Their narrow form factor makes them easier to position in locations where a conventional grow light fixture would not fit.

Supplemental Grow Lighting

The four-bar configuration makes the IONBEAM S16 useful for supplementing an existing primary grow light.

Growers can position the bars around the edges or lower portions of the grow area, while additional compatible IONBEAM bars can be linked when greater lighting coverage is required.

Magnetic Grow Tent Mounting

The included steel mounting bars allow the IONBEAM S16 fixtures to magnetically mount to grow tent frames or canvas surfaces.

This provides flexible placement without permanently fastening each light to the tent.

Mounting screws are also included for installations where a fixed mounting method is preferred.

Digital Dimming Controller

The included controller provides 10 brightness intensity levels, allowing light output to be adjusted for the application.

Available operating modes include OFF, ON, SCHEDULE, 10 brightness levels, and daily schedule programming.

This allows growers to manage both light intensity and operating time from the included controller.

Daily Schedule Programming

The controller's built-in scheduling function allows the light bars to follow a repeatable daily lighting routine.

This removes the need for a separate basic outlet timer when using the S16 as a standalone lighting system.

UIS Controller Compatibility

The IONBEAM S16 can connect to compatible AC Infinity UIS controllers through its controller port.

Pairing it with a compatible UIS controller unlocks additional control options including climate-based triggers, grow cycles, scheduling, and broader equipment integration.

This allows the bars to become part of a coordinated AC Infinity grow environment.

AC Infinity App Integration

When paired with a compatible WiFi-enabled UIS controller, the S16 can also integrate with the AC Infinity app.

Available app functions can include remote device control, advanced automation, alerts and notifications, climate charts, grow schedules, and CSV data export.

A compatible smart controller is required for these app-based features.

IP65 Protection

Each light bar carries an IP65 rating.

This helps protect the fixture against dust and water exposure and makes the S16 suitable for humid indoor growing and propagation environments.

Aluminum Unibody Construction

The S16 uses an aluminum unibody housing that holds the LED board while also helping dissipate heat.

This passive thermal design allows the bars to operate without dedicated cooling fans.

Propagation & Humidity Dome Use

AC Infinity also lists the IONBEAM series as compatible with its humidity dome systems.

The slim 16" bars can therefore be used as lighting for seed germination and propagation applications in addition to supplemental canopy lighting.

50,000 Hour Life Expectancy

The IONBEAM S16 carries a published 50,000-hour life expectancy.

The LED-based, passively cooled design allows the fixtures to operate without cooling fans or other moving components.

Optional Smart Controllers

The IONBEAM S16 can be purchased with its included dimming and schedule controller alone, or bundled with a compatible AC Infinity UIS smart controller for expanded automation.
