CenturionPro TableTop Pro Buyer’s Guide: Specs, Setup, Upgrades & Who It’s For

The CenturionPro TableTop Pro is built for growers who want automated trimming without dedicating an entire room to commercial processing equipment.

It is compact enough to sit on a sturdy workbench, but it still uses the same basic hybrid wet-and-dry trimming approach found throughout CenturionPro’s larger equipment lineup.

The TableTop can process up to 15 pounds of wet plant material or 3 pounds of dry material per hour, uses a single 24-inch hybrid tumbler, and pairs with a 1 horsepower leaf collector.

That combination makes it particularly well suited to home growers, craft operations, specialty herb producers, and small farms that have outgrown hand trimming but do not need a large floor-standing system.

This guide covers the specifications that actually matter, how the machine works, tumbler options, variable speed control, workspace requirements, maintenance, and how to decide whether the TableTop is large enough for your harvest.

CenturionPro TableTop Pro at a Glance

The TableTop is a compact hybrid trimming system designed to process both wet and dry plant material using the same tumbler.

That is one of its biggest advantages.

Instead of keeping separate machines or changing to a completely different drum every time your workflow changes, the TableTop can handle either style with adjustments to your preparation and operating process.

The small footprint is what separates this machine from much larger trimming systems.

At approximately 25 inches long and just over 8 inches wide, the main trimming unit takes up surprisingly little bench space.

The leaf collector is separate, so your total working area will be larger than the trimmer itself, but the complete setup is still realistic for a dedicated harvest room, utility space, workshop, or compact processing area.

What Comes With the TableTop?

The complete system includes the main trimming machine, dual-purpose hybrid tumbler, 1 HP leaf collector, flexible collection hose, hose clamps, feed hopper, and triple-bag collection system. Pasted text (2)

That matters because the leaf collector is not simply an extra accessory you can ignore.

Airflow is an important part of how the machine separates trimmed material from the finished product.

How the TableTop Pro Actually Works

The TableTop uses a rotating hybrid tumbler positioned above a hardened seven-blade cutting reel.

Plant material moves through the tumbler while excess leaf passes through openings in the drum toward the cutting mechanism.

The reel can perform up to 20,000 cuts per minute, while the connected leaf collector creates suction to pull separated material away from the cutting area. Pasted text (2)

It is a straightforward design, but performance depends heavily on preparation, airflow, cleanliness, and how much material is kept inside the tumbler.

One Tumbler for Wet and Dry Trimming

The dual-purpose tumbler is designed to process both freshly harvested and dried material.

That flexibility is useful if you have not committed to a single processing method or if your harvest routine changes during the year.

Wet and dry material behave very differently, however.

Fresh material is generally more flexible, while excessively dry material can become fragile.

The manufacturer specifically recommends that dry material retain enough flexibility that unwanted leaf remains soft rather than brittle.

You should not expect identical settings and feeding behavior for every batch.

Plant density, moisture level, variety, and preparation all affect the result.

Keep the Tumbler Properly Loaded

One small operating detail makes a surprisingly large difference.

CenturionPro recommends keeping the tumbler approximately 40% to 60% full during operation.

Running too little material can reduce the continuous movement that helps material progress through the drum.

Overfilling it can also interfere with consistent processing.

A steady feed is generally better than dumping a large batch into the machine all at once.

Tumbler and Speed Options

The basic TableTop is already capable of wet and dry processing, but two upgrades are particularly worth understanding before buying: the tumbler finish and variable speed control.

Electropolished Hybrid Tumbler

The electropolished tumbler is the straightforward, durable choice.

Its polished stainless steel surface provides a smooth processing area and can be cleaned using the procedures outlined for the standard machine.

For buyers who want simplicity, durability, and no specialized non-stick surface to care for, electropolished stainless steel makes sense.

Quantanium Tumbler

The Quantanium option uses a multi-coat non-stick surface containing titanium particles.

Its main purpose is to reduce material buildup on the tumbler while making cleanup easier.

The manufacturer specifically notes that Quantanium does not require lubricating sprays during use.

For operators processing sticky or high-residue plant material, that can be a meaningful convenience.

The tradeoff is cleaning technique.

Do not pressure wash a Quantanium tumbler.

The manufacturer recommends soaking it in warm soapy water, rinsing it, and wiping it with a soft cloth. Metal tools, sharp objects, and aggressive automotive degreasers should also be avoided because they can damage the coating.

For someone who regularly runs wet material and wants faster cleanup, Quantanium can be one of the more useful upgrades.

Is Variable Speed Control Worth It?

Variable speed control gives the operator more control over how aggressively material moves through the trimming process.

That becomes most useful when alternating between different moisture levels and plant structures.

Lower speeds can be useful when handling delicate dry material, while higher speeds may suit tougher wet processing or faster feed rates.

If your workflow is extremely consistent and you process similar material every harvest, standard speed may be completely adequate.

If you frequently switch between wet and dry trimming or process varieties with noticeably different density and structure, variable speed gives you another way to dial in the machine instead of forcing every batch through the same conditions.

Setup and Workspace Requirements

The TableTop name is accurate.

This machine is designed around a compact bench-style workflow rather than a large dedicated processing line.

You still need enough room for the trimmer, leaf collector, hoses, incoming material, finished material, and cleaning access.

Give the Machine a Solid Work Surface

The trimmer itself weighs approximately 53 pounds, so use a stable workbench that does not flex or move while the machine is running.

You also want enough working space around the intake and outlet that you are not constantly repositioning containers.

The leaf collector weighs approximately 20 pounds and measures about 16 × 13.5 × 13.5 inches, so account for that separately.

Do Not Ignore the Leaf Collector

The included 1 HP leaf collector provides up to 1,800 CFM of airflow.

Its job is to draw separated material away from the tumbler and into the collection bags.

If suction drops, trimming performance can drop with it.

The manufacturer specifically recommends checking the collector, filters, impeller, hose routing, and power supply when suction feels weak.

This means airflow maintenance is just as important as keeping the blades clean.

Electrical Requirements

The North American TableTop is listed at 110V / 6 amps, while the 1 HP collector is listed at 110V / 12 amps.

The manual recommends a properly grounded electrical supply.

If an extension cord is required, the manual specifies a maximum length of 25 feet and a minimum size of 12 AWG.

Long or undersized extension cords can create voltage drop and reduce performance.

Room Temperature Matters

The manufacturer recommends operating the machine in a relatively cool room, around 50°F to 60°F / 10°C to 15°C, to reduce sticking on machine components.

You do not necessarily need a refrigerated commercial processing room, but cooler conditions can make sticky material considerably easier to handle.

Who Is the TableTop Pro Best For?

The TableTop makes the most sense when manual trimming has become too slow, but your harvest volume does not justify a large commercial processing line.

Home and Craft Growers

For occasional harvests, the TableTop offers a large jump in processing capacity without requiring permanent floor space.

When harvest is over, its 53-pound main unit is still manageable enough to move or store.

Small Farms and Specialty Herb Producers

The 15 lb/hr wet capacity is substantial enough to reduce labor on small production runs while still keeping the machine practical for spaces that serve multiple purposes.

Growers Who Use Both Wet and Dry Workflows

This is one of the strongest use cases.

Buying a hybrid machine gives you flexibility to change your processing method without buying an entirely separate trimming system.

When You Should Consider a Larger Machine

Throughput should drive the decision.

If 15 pounds per hour of wet processing or 3 pounds per hour of dry processing comfortably clears your harvest in the amount of time you want to spend trimming, the TableTop is appropriately sized.

If you would need to run it continuously for long shifts or spread one harvest over several days, you may already be outside its ideal capacity.

A larger model makes more sense when the trimmer itself would become the bottleneck in an otherwise efficient harvest workflow.

Do not buy a larger machine simply because a larger machine exists.

Buy enough throughput to comfortably process the harvest you actually produce.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Automated trimmers are not set-it-and-forget-it machines.

Plant residue accumulates around the tumbler, brush, cutting reel, bed-bar blade, collector, and filtration system.

Keeping those components clean directly affects cutting performance.

Clean the Machine After Use

The manufacturer recommends cleaning the TableTop after each day of use.

The main components can be removed so the brush, tumbler, cutting reel, shroud, and surrounding surfaces can be cleaned properly.

For the electropolished tumbler and appropriate machine components, the manual permits hot pressurized water up to 1,500 PSI while specifically warning users to avoid direct water exposure to the motor and bearings.

Again, this does not apply to the Quantanium tumbler, which should not be pressure washed.

Clean the Blade More Frequently

The bed-bar blade and magnet bar need more frequent attention than the rest of the machine.

CenturionPro recommends removing and cleaning them every 3 to 4 operating hours for optimal performance.

That may sound excessive until you consider how the cutting system works.

The reel and bed-bar act much like a pair of scissors.

If residue builds up between those cutting surfaces, performance falls quickly.

Regrease the Bearings

After washing the machine, the manufacturer recommends regreasing the tumbler bearings using a grease gun with a needle attachment.

This is the sort of small maintenance step that is easy to forget but matters for long-term reliability.

Maintain the Leaf Collector Too

The collector also needs periodic cleaning.

The manual recommends servicing the leaf collector components every 30 days or 100 hours of operation, including removal of buildup from the impeller, interior housing, and collection bags.

A perfectly clean trimmer connected to a clogged collector will still perform poorly.

Warranty Coverage

The TableTop trimmer carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty, while the leaf collector carries a 3-year warranty.

Warranty registration is required within 30 days of purchase.

Normal wear items such as belts, O-rings, brushes, bearings, and the bed-bar blade are not treated as warranty defects, so routine maintenance and eventual replacement of wear parts should be expected.

CenturionPro TableTop Pro FAQ

Can the TableTop Pro trim both wet and dry material?

Yes.

The dual-purpose hybrid tumbler is designed for both wet and dry processing, so a separate tumbler is not required simply to switch methods.

Preparation and operating conditions will still change depending on the moisture level of your material.

How much can the TableTop Pro process per hour?

The manufacturer lists processing capacity at up to 15 pounds per hour wet and 3 pounds per hour dry.

Actual throughput can vary with plant density, moisture level, preparation, feeding consistency, and operator technique.

How large is the TableTop Pro?

The main trimmer measures approximately 25 × 8.25 × 19.25 inches and weighs approximately 53 pounds.

It is designed for workbench installation.

How big is the tumbler?

The hybrid tumbler measures approximately 24 inches long and 5.5 inches in diameter.

How full should the tumbler be?

CenturionPro recommends keeping it approximately 40% to 60% full during operation.

Maintaining a consistent feed helps material continue moving through the machine.

Do you need the leaf collector?

Yes.

The TableTop system is designed around the included 1 HP collector and its airflow.

The collector helps draw separated material away from the cutting area and into the bag system.

Is the Quantanium tumbler worth it?

It makes the most sense for operators who prioritize reduced buildup and easier cleaning, particularly when working with sticky material.

Its biggest tradeoff is care: it cannot be pressure washed and should be treated like a non-stick surface.

Can you pressure wash the TableTop?

Some standard machine components and the electropolished tumbler can be cleaned using the manufacturer’s prescribed pressure-washing method.

The Quantanium tumbler must not be pressure washed.

Always disconnect power and follow the manufacturer’s cleaning procedure before washing any component.

How often should the blade be cleaned?

The manufacturer recommends cleaning the bed-bar blade and magnet bar every 3 to 4 hours of operation.

Is the TableTop Pro right for a small grow?

For many home, craft, and small-scale operations, yes.

The more useful question is whether its 15 lb wet / 3 lb dry hourly capacity lets you finish your typical harvest comfortably.

If it does, the compact TableTop format can save considerable labor without adding unnecessary commercial-scale equipment.

A Compact Trimmer With Serious Capacity

The CenturionPro TableTop Pro works because it keeps the concept simple.

You get one compact machine, one dual-purpose tumbler, an included 1 HP collector, up to 20,000 cuts per minute, and the ability to process both wet and dry material.

Its biggest strengths are flexibility and footprint.

It is small enough for a bench-based harvest room but powerful enough to turn hours of repetitive manual trimming into a much more manageable workflow.

The decision ultimately comes down to capacity.

If 15 pounds wet or 3 pounds dry per hour comfortably handles your typical harvest, the TableTop hits a useful middle ground between hand trimming and stepping into larger commercial processing equipment.

If your harvest is already large enough to keep that machine running at capacity for long stretches, size up rather than forcing a compact trimmer to do a larger machine’s job.

For everyone else, the TableTop is exactly what its name suggests: a serious trimming system designed to fit into a much smaller space.
